Cozy Cove

 42 Autumn 547 (15 October 2002)

• Hello! Sorry this report is a bit delayed, but I was abroad for a little while. But don't worry, I am back now 8)
  I remember still some very fun hunting in the new bear caves, where our small but powerful group did lay waste among the bears! Yay!

Putting terror into some bears!

• Chalamantra brought our attention to some spot in the bear caves I never put a closer look on. She showed us the secret path into the herpetit caves! I had no idea such a place existed. Very strange, considering that it is not really far from town and I was close to it a thousand times. From the herpetit caves we emerged onto the herpetit beaches, which provided some very nice scenery. (Hic!)

Woah! Some beach where I was never before!

• After becoming sober from the lizard-place I was happy to join a small hunt through the savannah dunes to look for large sand worms. It was very exciting because our group was not very strong - but with great healer backup! Still, as most of the healers got chewed by some worm, we had run out of luck. Homewards via the train is not that bad, either. 8)

• Talin got a great idea! She knows that I am not much on KI because I am not really strong enough yet to get invited, so she suggested to start a hunt on our own! Together we could get Gorvin, Habba, Hrothgar and Jkleh and travelled to KI-cove. This place is not really that hard as the rest of KI, I was told and quite easy to get into and also back home. Wooh, and we got great hunting! A huge pack of lyfe attacted us, and of course Hor had to bite some dust 8)

• But I had nothing to worry, soon I was able to travel to MI on my own feet. (After we were finished with the cove, of course.)
  There we encountered a great many of young sasquatches, who proved to be only a minor challenge for our capable group. Also note that very fine skin Jkleh could manage 8). Thanks folks for a lot experience and fun!

And straight from the cove to Melabrions Isle!

• Later that same day I got invited to go to KI-cove again! Amazing. But it was still empty from our prior visit and so we just dropped by at Fat Alices place to slay some beetles in her basement. I am very proud I was able to extract some 40c mandibles from such a beast without any training. Wooh 8)
