Frozen rain
40 Spring 548 (27 November 2002)
- Hello! There was another gathering of the Edarian Hunt
Club recently. And this time we actually planned ahead! Yay! 8)
We always wanted to go to Noth and Talin did most of the
organizing. Thanks Talin! 8)
Phiros agreed to let us pass that magical barrier that
surrounds that strange little isle and so the crowd headed off!

- Ziff, being the strongest of the group, took the
leadership and brought us savely through all northern
snells. It did really work out well and all participants of
that hunt were quite happy. We had a fair bit of experience
and even more fun. 8)

- Some days later I heard that an audition was going on
in the bards field. On auditions folks can play before a jury
in hope to become a bard questor. This is the first step of
becoming a famous and rich-beyond-dreams bard!
Coriakin was very nervous and tried his best at the stage.
Perhaps he was just not used to the crowd, but he managed
quite fine after all *chuckle*. Keep on trying Cori, you might
end up in some famous rockband. 8)

- After that nerve-tearing bard action I came with
Frucy and iTornade (who had made his 4th circle on that day!
Congrats!) to find some fun in Janners. We expected no big
resistance, but the junk overwhelmed us! I ended up trapped
for almost one puddle-hour - cheers to Troilus. 8)
But in the end I also did fall, but we had enough time to get some
rescue going. Of course we cleaned the place out, but don't
tell the forester!

- After the forest fun we thought about what to do next
and we came up with planning a trip to the Snowy Dale! We all
had heard about that newly discovered place, but were never
there. We grabbed some reinforcements and after a short
drawback at KI Cove we finally saw snow for the first time!
Woooh - it was so bright! And a bit chilly at the toes...
We came late and so night fell over us - and then a single
lyfe almost wipped us out... thanks Thuja for bringing us out! 8)
Next time we go there, I try to be better prepared...
