Happy Sasquatch Day

 48 Summer 549 (19 March 2003)

  • A very pleasant first duty for today is to announce a happy event! There is a wedding soon! And I am not only invited, I am proud to be choosen as best man for one of the grooms. (Ya, there are two of them! But see for yourself... 8)

Announcing the wedding of Miss Frucesca and the dwarfs Fundin & iTornade
on Sunday 23rd of march (OOC)

The ceremony will be held in the east forest snell F3 (please click on the image on the right for a map, or look here)
If you want a lift to the wedding place be at TC or east gate at 3 pm EST.

All exiles are welcome to party!!!!!

We will have some beer and music for dancing. (More beer welcome)
After this we will amuse our guests with games like:

    • chase Frucy in marsh (Brautklau)
    • CTF
    • Pushball

When the games are finished we will start our honeymoon to the abyss and you could be part of the romantic honeymoon dying. For sure a depart leads you back to town!

So, don't miss this unconventional party!

    Frucy, Fundin & iTornade

  • Well, enough of parties! Back to work now! 8) And that one was even brain work! We tried to find out whether MegaMouths are mammals or not. Chalamanta obviously was very excited as she spotted nippels (which would be the mammal proof), but Leos still was quite sure the MegaMouth is a type of shark and therefore fish. Perhaps some thoom could make this clearer? I myself decided to not have an opinion, because this is just all to wet!!

Biological analysis?
  • Next thing was a hell of a hunt! Took all day and was very exciting and profitable! Yay! It started as Kishi and Dana asked me if I was available for some hunting of the KI cove - at first I was doubtful we could handle that on our own, but then Mujin-kun came along. Woooh, end of all problems 8)
Cove was a bit disappointing, so we tried our luck on Melabrions Isle. We found some valley cougars and a handful of sasquatches, but nothing overall impressive. Then we did a quick peek into Fat Alices Hut and I managed a pretty lucky mandible extraction coinage. 8)

Day starting out very well!
  • As the day was still young we decided to grab Ffodor and headed into the valley. This was the smallest valley group I ever hunted with and I really had a hard time to keep up. 8)
By now I can survive a lot of the stuff there, but the stinging beetles are still a huge problem for me. Many thanks folks for all that chaining *blush*.

Until we started to kill beetles on some larger scale.
  • However I was amazed how well this worked! We easily found, run and killed several sasquatches and the usual other stuff. Just as we arrived at the exit cave and started to clean it, there was a huge spawn. We were not prepared for it and our lack of attention almost got us killed. I never saw so many of them at one spot! Rimmers chain brought all of us savely into the secure cave where we thought about how to handle the 20-30 waiting sasquatch outside.

Luckily we found more than just insects...

Some closer look...8)
  • Well, despite my panic it was decided to kill them all! Yikes! And then I learned a bit about tactics and how to survive in desperate situations. It took a while, but having some of the strongest fighters around helped certainly. In the end we won! We even searched the valley for more to kill and in the end I went home with a silly grin on my face and the decision to put more effort into Skea soon 8) Woooh!
