First a bit of OOC stuff! The user meeting near Munich, Germany
is over!
And we had a great time! The Orga Camping 2003 was a big
success!
A bunch of well known exiles arrived on Friday evening in town
center of the orga camp. We also had several guest agratis and
some lost citizens showing up! Thanks to all who came!
(Matahee, Lyctor, Maní, Sokrates, iolaus, Del'Arus, Roffian,
Vandergroth, Taurobar, nada, Scarabaeus and me you might have seen
also around Puddleby...8)
First we started the grill and enjoyed a fine artak barbecue with
a lot of beer. (And we had not even a dorf among us! (Luckily! 8)
Even with a lot of available horus we decided to delay the
hunting to the next day - give the pathfinders some time to
prepare!
So the next morning we had some nice breakfast and splitted into
two groups. One went to the passes where they tried to dodge
small rocks and trained cliff hanging with Master Maní. The
other group tried something much more dangerous and started to
trek towards the south beach... Soki was the one with the highest
pathfinding skill and led the group through some rough bramble
area.
After a quite long journey we finally found the beaches. To bad we
found not a single large sand worm - but at least we spotted several noids and in the water Roffian had to fight some GCP!
Good thing we had a lot of healers who watched and giggled 8)
Disturbing was however as Fen Del'Arus bravely jumped in the
water! *shiver*. And while we were there enjoying the sun we
singlehandly repelled a darshark invasion, found several ore
and wood and on the way home we raided an inn and came out with our
hands full of ice! 8)
In the evening we grilled some more wendy-steaks and bolok-sausages. Yummy! I brought also extra casks of beer and
we gathered around a camp fire. Amazingly we only had a single
fallen, who we kept on the chain all night. (Maní decided
to get some more Horus soon.... *chuckle*)
The next morning (again after not a lot of sleep - but sleep is
for mystics anyway!! 8) there was another breakfast and we
packed up to head for the library. One more barbecue of the
leftovers and then our numbers went down fast. Pfew - that weekend
was really exciting! We had found not much coin, but got great
experience!! We are all looking forward to Orga Camp 2004 - thanks
to all who came and made this so much fun! YAY!!
